Day 17 – Exercise

Part of being healthier is exercise. I’ve been doing an arm challenge for the month of August. It runs in a three days on/one day off/three days on/one day off, etc throughout the month. In addition to that I’m doing a six week pushup challenge. It fits right into the arm challenge, as part of that includes pushups. I’m training for a 10k so I run three times a week and on my non-run days I have to get in some sort of cardio so I ride my bike. Mark likes to ride so he goes with me. I’m not sure what kind of a workout we actually get because when we get to this one point along the Katy Trail we stop at the bench that sits along the Missouri River and visit. It’s a very peaceful location where we can just catch up on our day. It’s very relaxing.
