2013 November 14 – Eating

So, a friend gave me a recipe for macaroni and cheese. It has been ages since I’ve eaten macaroni and cheese and it seemed like a good day for it.

  • 2 cups pasta
  • 2 cups milk
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Pinch of ground mustard
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup cheese

Over medium heat bring above ingredients (except the cheese) to a boil then turn to simmer until the pasta has absorbed all the milk. Then add the cheese. I used a Mediterranean Herb feta cheese and some Mozzarella. Holy moly. Ground up a little black pepper over it. So freaking good. I need to not be in the habit of making this because I’m pretty sure it was about a thousand calories!
