Last weekend we had fierce, fierce storms! Not unlike spring in Missouri. The difference is that we happened to be at our place off the grid. In a camper. Not a house. Let me just tell you….hail pounding on the top of a metal can sounds way more ominous than hail pounding on the roof of a house. My poor Jake was so freaked out. I sat on the floor with him as he buried his head under my arm pit.
In the morning, after surviving the hellacious storms during the night, my front deck looked like this:
The trees surrounding the camper didn’t fare as well. The whole lot was covered with blown down leaves, twigs, branches! The truck is dinged with hail pocks. Overall, though…not much damage.
